Coolant Cap
The HPS Performance 2″ high temperature reinforced black silicone cap is designed specifically to be installed onto your cooling system. Vacuum caps have no reinforcement and are intended for vacuum and very little pressure. HPS Performance Silicone Caps are reinforced with 3 layers of polyester webbing and will withstand the high temperatures and pressures of your cooling system for years to come. They are compatible for use with coolant, water, air, turbocharger bypass valve ports, vacuum ports, throttle body water ports, heater cores, and much more. Temperature Range: – 65 deg. F to + 350 deg. F (177 deg. C). Reinforced Layer: 3-ply polyester. Inside Diameter: 2″ (51mm). Color: black. Wall Thickness: 4mm. Inside Length: 1-3/16″. Overall Length: 1-7/8″. UV and ozone resistant. Remark: HPS reinforced silicone caps are not compatible with fuel, oil, or any petroleum-based products.
Embossed Clamp
HPS 100% Stainless Steel Embossed Hose Clamps SAE # 28. 1-9/16″ – 2-1/4″ (40mm-57mm) are ideal for aircraft, heavy-duty industrial applications as well as outdoor, fresh water and mildly corrosive applications. HPS embossed clamp is design to prevent hose damage during installation and does not corrode like the standard worm gear clamp. The non-perforated band keeps soft silicone hoses from shearing or extruding during installation. The one piece housing design helps maintaining the integrity of the connection and provides a strong seal. Technical Specification: SAE # 28. 100% Stainless Steel. 12mm (1/2″) band. 7mm slotted hex head. Heavy duty industrial grade one-piece housing design. Rolled edges prevent hose damage during installation. Effective Diameter Range: 1-9/16″ – 2-1/4″ (40mm-57mm). Recommend to use on HPS hoses with inside diameter range from 1-1/4″ – 1-7/8″ (32mm – 48mm). Maximum Torque Spec: 35 in lbs. Exceeds all SAE requirements.
